SBINFT Joins Japan Open Chain as a Validator

Japan Blockchain Foundation Co., Ltd. (President: Hidekazu Kondo, hereinafter referred to as “the Foundation”), which operates and manages the consortium for Japan Open Chain (JOC), a fully Ethereum-compatible public blockchain run by Japanese companies, is pleased to announce that SBINFT Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Jangdeok Ko, hereinafter referred to as “SBINFT”) has joined JOC as a validator (blockchain operating partner).

Going forward, SBINFT plans to enable its services to support JOC.

The current validators of Japan Open Chain include major companies such as CORGEAR Co., Ltd. (a Sony Group startup), Dentsu Inc., NTT Communications Corporation, G.U.Technologies Inc., insprout Corporation, Kudasai Co., Ltd., Minna Bank, Ltd., pixiv Inc., TIS Inc., extra mile Inc. (a group company of TV Asahi Holdings Corporation), Kyoto University of the Arts, Hatena Co., Ltd., CAC Corporation, and CYBERLINKS CO., LTD.. The consortium plans to have a total of 21 validators to ensure decentralized operations.
